1. Palthu Janwar
Language: Malayalam
Genre: Realistic/Feel-good
Palthu Janwar is a no-nonsense feel-good drama about the life of a young man named Prasoon—beautifully and aptly played by Basil Joseph—who is forced to work in a workplace against his will and how he handles the difficult situations he faces. Though the film is lighthearted in its periphery, it subtly addresses complex issues such as systemic incompetence and workplace politics in the field of animal husbandry. A sense of humour pervades the film, and the fine performances by the cast members contribute to its overall quality.
Though I applaud the film for the subject matter, I am sceptical of the theatrical experience because it is a little slow at times, and I believe one could enjoy the film more comfortably in the new "OTT-Space."
My opinion- GOOD
