9. Me, Myself and I: Season 1

Genre: Fantasy/Sit-Com

Language : Malayalam

No. of episodes: 7

Where to Watch: Youtube

The intriguing premise of me, myself, and I, season 1 with Ahana Krishna as the lead, is what would happen if your present self met your previous and future selves. Despite being in the fantasy/time-travel genre, the creators of the series choose a different sitcom-like approach, focusing more on the disparities between the selves that are only distinguished by the passage of time and how they manage to find comfort in one another despite the differences. The majority of the series is entertaining, but the emotional connection that Malavika, Malu, and Malooty form elevates the entire endeavour by representing cohesion, friendship, and self-love.

The series is really easy to follow and doesn't get bogged down in the complexities of time travel, making it simple to become involved in the plot. Additionally, the episodes are brief, making them simple to watch, but the same limitation also prevents expositions for characters other than the three Malavikas.

The additional positives of this series are its DOP and visual elegance. Also, the casting for the series is excellent, particularly for Malu, Malooty, and Malavika, the three pillars in this narrative. The show shifts from its humorous tone at the end and adopts a more sombre one, which finally results in a cliffhanger finale. After Season 1 concludes, there will be a tonne of questions, and maybe the makers will address them in the upcoming season.

My opinion: A good watch.. Go for it.
